James “Jamie” Roland VanHise, age 51 of Covington, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Richmond, Kentucky. Jamie was born in Dayton on February 15, 1967 to Cynthia VanHise; was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1985; a U.S. Air Force Veteran; worked for AIDA, Huber Heights as Vice President of After-Market Solutions; an avid Sprint Car Racing Fan and was Pit Crew Chief for VanHise Racing. Jamie is survived by his mother, Cynthia; daughter, Ashley Oleysyck of Valdosta, Georgia; three sons, Devin VanHise, Riley VanHise, Weston VanHise; granddaughter, Brooklyn Oleysyck; and many friends. Gathering of Friends Sunday, July 29th, 2-5 PM at the Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington. Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
