Cynthia Ann Gibson

Cynthia Ann Gibson, age 60, of Piqua, formerly of Covington, died Friday, April 30, 2021 at Grandview Medical Center, Dayton.  She was born January 25, 1961 in Piqua, OH to James A. Snyder, deceased, and Barbara Lawrence, who survives; attended Piqua High School; attended St. John’s Lutheran Church, Covington; was a stay-at-home mom for many years, raising 9 children; then worked at Andy’s Garden where she developed a passion for planting and growing all sorts of things; and most of all, she loved her grandchildren.

Cynthia is survived by her mother; 5 children, Rachel (David) Larson of Covington, Nathan (Krista) Gibson of Lexington, SC, Patrick (Beth) Gibson of Bowling Green, Andrew (Misty) Gibson of Piqua, and Zachary (Krystin) Gibson of Columbus; 12 grandchildren, Mary and Alice Larson, Joshua, Kamryn and Jackson Gibson, Kitelynn, Elliott and Natalie Gibson, Conner, Adeline and Dawson Gibson, and Caleb Gibson; 2 brothers, Dana Snyder of Piqua and Jon (Karen) Snyder of Westerville; 2 sisters, Terri (Roy) Meeds of Piqua and Jennifer (Jorge) Pereira of Oviedo, FL; step-mom, Carol Snyder of Piqua;  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Covington with Pastor Rachel Patterson officiating.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 p.m. until time of service at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Health Partners Free Clinic, Troy.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
