Donald L. Magee

Donald L. Magee, age 85 of Bradford, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville.  Don was born in Bradford on May 2, 1936 to the (late) Raymond & Ruth (Wintrow) Magee; a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1954; a U.S. Veteran, serving with the Army National Guard; was owner for 40+ years of Magee Brothers Construction, Covington; a former F&AM with the Gettysburg Lodge; a member of the Bradford School Board for 10 years; a member of the Greenville Creek Christian Church; enjoyed going to their cottage on the lake, fishing, and driving his pontoon boat.  Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dixie Nell (Shank) Magee on September 26, 2018; five brothers, Galen, Robert, Hubert, Glenn & Jim Magee; and two sisters, Mildred Weikert & Alice Haggard.  Don is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian & Robbin Magee of Bradford; daughter and son-in-law, Robin & Tim O’Donnell of Greenville; three grandchildren, Allyson Manning, Ryan Manning, Brandon Magee; two step-grandchildren, Abigail O’Donnell & Daniel O’Donnell; sister, Miriam Erbaugh of Greenville; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph & Joyce Magee of Bradford; sister-in-law, Barbara Magee of Greenville; brother-in-law, Bruce Shank; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday at the Greenville Creek Christian Church, Bradford, 5105 Buckneck Road, Bradford, with Pastor Daryl Peeples officiating.  Interment at Greenville Creek Cemetery, Bradford.  Visitation 5-7 PM Thursday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Everheart Hospice (formerly State of the Heart Hospice, Greenville).  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
