Holly Renae Peeples, age 50 of Piqua, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County, Troy. Holly was born in Piqua on December 16, 1971 to Arlen “Duke” & Ruby J. (Trittschuh) Peeples; a graduate of Piqua High School, Class of 1990; had previously worked for Pizza Hut; a volunteer for Laurie Deubner as a teacher’s aide; a member of the Covington Presbyterian Church, where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher, Chairman of the Worship Committee, sang in the choir, served on the Board of Deacons, and served on the Sessions Board; a member of the Wapakoneta Eagles; loved to play bingo; enjoyed tap dancing, baton, liked to dance, go fishing and camping; she loved going to Gatlinburg with her family. Preceded in death by her father, Arlen “Duke” Peeples in 2005; maternal grandparents, Willie & Leah Trittschuh; and paternal grandparents, Herschel & Garnett Peeples. Holly is survived by her mother, Ruby Peeples of Piqua; sister, Hope Ann Peeples of Piqua; special “sister” cousin, Mindy Phlipot of Covington; aunts and uncles, Lester & Sharon Trittschuh of West Milton, Carolyn & David Engle of Piqua, Peggy & Tom Hill of Versailles, Phyllis Trittschuh of Greenville; special friends, Krissy & Katey Scheer of Piqua and Allen Schrubb of Piqua; numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends. Funeral Service 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Covington Presbyterian Church with Pastor Greg Kurtz officiating. Visitation 5:00 PM Wednesday until time of service at the church. Holly’s cremains will be buried at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington at a later date.
