Jeremy Byers Obituary

Jeremy Lee Byers, age 44 of Gettysburg, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Wayne Hospital, Greenville.  Jeremy was born in Greenville on December 16, 1975 to Charles “Chuck” D. & Pamela R. (Barga) Byers; was a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1995; had previously worked as a Prep Cook at Red Lobsters; loved his nieces and nephew; loved playing bingo; loved to do the plant swap at the Bradford Library; enjoyed gardening and could grow anything; he was the “popcorn guy” at Greenville Creek Christian Church’s Ice Cream Social; and he “never met a stranger.”  Preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles W. & Mary Byers, Lowell & Betty Barga; aunts, Jenny Byerly, Marie Clarkson, Patricia Owens; uncles, Carl Byers, Tim Byers, Dave Barga.  Jeremy is survived by his parents, Chuck & Pamela Byers of Bradford; brother and sister-in-law, Lowell & Tammy Byers of Bradford; two nieces, Makenzy & Beveny Byers; nephew, Eric Byers; aunts and uncles, Sandy Byerly, Dave Byers, Rob Byers, Dorothy & Jamie Marker, Mary Ann York, Joe Barga, Karen & Eddie Richards, Michael & Bonnie Barga, Terry & Bonnie Barga, Edward & Belinda Barga, Jerry Barga, Barbara & Rick Lear, Cindy & Chris Hudelson, Kay & John Jones, Jean & Darrell Swank; his beloved cats, Hazel & Sassy; many cousins, other relatives and friends.  Gathering of Friends Thursday, 4:30 – 7:30 PM at the Bradford Community Club.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
