Johnny Alan Boehringer, age 55 of Covington, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at his home. Johnny was born in Troy on September 12, 1968 to the (late) John E. & Betty J. (Frantz) Boehringer; was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1986; worked for 37 years as a Coordinator at Clopay, Troy; retired with 28 years of service from the Covington Fire Department; a member of the Covington Eagles Aerie #3998; in his younger years he enjoyed fishing and hunting; avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cincinnati Reds; enjoyed playing euchre; was a “cat dad”; pretty much just loved hanging out with his wife, Heather; and loved his grandkids. Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 10 ½ years, Heather J. (Wintrow) Boehringer; son, Josh & Sarah Boehringer of Bradford; daughter, Macy Boehringer & Bryant Dixon of Covington; five grandchildren, who called him Papaw Bo, Reyce, Ryleigh, Raven, Grace, Connor, and one on the way; two brothers and sister-in-law, Pete Boehringer, Jarrod & Amy Boehringer, all of Covington; niece, nephew, other relatives and many friends. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 30th, starting at 4:00 PM at the Covington Eagles, enter at the east side of building. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Covington Fire & Rescue Department. Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
