Karen Sue Rhoades

Karen Sue Rhoades, age 76 of Covington, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at her home.  Karen was born in Greenville on May 5, 1945 to the (late) Glenn & Eva (Smithton) Shepherd; a graduate of Greenville High School, Class of 1963; a graduate of Edison Community College in 1986; had previously worked at Cooper Foods, Murphy’s in Greenville, and Roger’s Deli Mart in Greenville; also with her husband, Richard, they had worked for Miami County Children Services and were team truck drivers for Watkins Trucking; liked to crochet and loved the Hallmark Channel.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Grant Rhoades in 1995 and son, David Rhoades in 2018.  Karen is survived by her half-sister, Janet Lampert of Oak Ridge, TN; special friends, Sheila Patton of Covington, Dottie Lingle of Versailles, and Tammy Monnin; other relatives and friends.  Graveside Service Saturday, March 5th at 1:00 PM at Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford.  Condolences may be left for the family and friends at www.stockerfraley.com.
