Linda Lou (Pretsman) Force, age 81 of Gettysburg, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at her home. Linda was born in Greenville on November 14, 1939 to the (late) Arthur Monroe & Ethel (Hufford) Pretsman; a graduate of Greenville High School, Class of 1957; a member of Oakland Church of the Brethren, Bradford; retired from Brethren Retirement Community with 15 years of service; previously worked for Ross Clark Elevators, Gettysburg and Century Electric, Gettysburg with 10 years of service; enjoyed playing cards with her “Card Club Girls” for 50+ years; loved playing dominoes and marbles. Preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Scott Allen Force; sister, Byrdene Clark; and two brothers, Arthur Obed Pretsman and Marvin Monroe Pretsman. Linda is survived by her husband of 64 years, Samuel E. “Sam” Force; her three children and their spouses, Debbie & Rick Fugate of Greenville, Sam Jr. & Tammy Force of Greenville, Steven Ray & Lisa Force of Columbus; eight grandchildren, Eric Fugate, Alex Fugate, Seth & Brittany Force, Ashley & Jacob White, Stephanie & Jim Hafner, Francesca Force, Vincent & Cassie Force, and Anthony Force; seven great-grandchildren, Travis, Leah, Lydia & Sammy, Kinley & Caliana, and James; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. *********** Graveside Service Tuesday, November 2nd at Gettysburg Cemetery with Pastor Gary Oser officiating HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO SICKNESS IN THE FAMILY***********.
