Nancy L. McClurg

Nancy L. McClurg, age 72 of Piqua, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Piqua Manor.  Nancy was born in Piqua on August 19, 1951 to the (late) Leonard & Bernice (Buckley) Abshire; worked for many years as a Nurse’s Aide at Otterbein Nursing Home, St. Marys; an avid bowler; enjoyed fishing, swimming, and spending time with her family; but most of all she said she, “loved to be the life of the party!”  Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 23 years, Mike McClurg; and brother-in-law, Dwayne Robertson.  Nancy is survived by her children, William & wife, Tiffany Grody of Troy, Jackie Mauchamer of Troy, Christina & wife, Abby Gary of Piqua, and Melissa Stockslager of Troy; grandchildren, Tasha & husband, Derrick Gullett, Nathan Grody, Ryan Grody, Katie Mauchamer, Andrew Mauchamer, Morgan Carroll and Ethan Stockslager; great-grandson, Link Gullett; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Robertson of Covington, Diana & Steve Good of Covington, Doreen & Chris Miller of Springboro; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington.  Interment at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington. Visitation 10:00 AM Thursday until time of service at the funeral home.
