Sara “Roberta” Shively, age 75 of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Ayden Nursing Home, Greenville. Roberta was born in Lawrence County, Kentucky on May 30, 1948; she attended two years of college; had worked for Specialty Sportswear, Greenville and Covington Care Center; was raised Baptist; enjoyed sewing, crocheting, watching Lifetime movies, and watching the birds and squirrels. Preceded in death by her mother, Lou Verla (Tipton) Spillman; three sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry & Pam Phillips, Rex Phillips, and William Phillips; three grandsons, Matthew Phillips, Isiah Phillips, and Timothy Phillips; great-granddaughter, Millie Phillips; three brothers, Chester Spillman, Glen Spillman & Richard Spillman; sister, Lina Griffith; and daughter-in-law, Stacy Phillips. Roberta is survived by her husband of 31 years, Owen Henry Shively; daughter, Debbie Sanders & Chad Hill of Tipp City; three sons, Michael Phillips & Jamie Rhodes of Gettysburg, Randy Phillips & Angie Rayburn of Russell, KY, Charlie Phillips of Portsmouth, OH; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Esta & Gary Sexton of Hitchens, KY and Mary Click of Olive Hill, KY; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe & Pam Spillman of Mechanicsburg, Jimmie & Laurie Spillman of Marysville, OH; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 3:00 PM Monday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Randy Phillips and Jimmie Spillman officiating. Interment Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford.
