Sharon Louise Schad

Sharon Louise Schad, age 74 of Piqua, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at her home.  Sharon was born in Piqua on February 5, 1948 to the (late) John Wimmer and Mary Ellen (Wise) Parker; had worked for Cove Shoe Factory for 15 years; attended Piqua First Baptist Church; loved working in her flowers; watching her soaps; enjoyed cooking; and going to family reunions and picnics. She was dearly loved by her children.  Preceded in death by her parents, John Wimmer and Mary Ellen Parker; adopted parents, John & Delores Hillard; step-father, Buddy Parker; and grandson, Christopher Conrad.  Sharon is survived by her children, Michelle & Dwayne Finch of Greenville, Michael Conrad of Colorado Springs, CO, Mary & Roy McConnell of Altoona, PA; three grandchildren, Krista & Paul Crabtree, Johnathon Finch, and Betty Beichler; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Johnathon, and Jazmine; brothers and sisters, Dave & Dee Wimmer of Bradford, Dennis & Deneise Cain of Covington, Ellen Teeter of Harrisburg, PA, Candy Adams of Greenville, Jeff & Connie Cain of Troy, and Vickie & Ron Calvert of Conroe, TX; life-long companion, Earl Swope of Martinsburg, PA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday at Noon at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Elder Garth Hazelton officiating.  Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.  Gathering of Friends 10 AM Friday until time of service.
