William “Bill” A. Grody, age 77 of Bradford, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at his home. Bill was born in New Carlisle, OH on January 20, 1944 to the (late) William M. & Mary (Cornell) Grody; retired with 45 years of service from Kerry Ingredients/Westerville Creamery, Covington; enjoyed going to stock car races at Shady Bowl; enjoyed fishing and woodcarving and scrolling; enjoyed watching westerns, Gunsmoke, Bat Masterson, and loved watching wrestling on Sundays; past CB operator where his handle was “Milkcan”; enjoyed Dottie and The Country Four; and had traveled to Niagara Falls, Canada, New York, and Kentucky. Preceded in death by his parents and son, William A. Grody Jr. Bill is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sandra (Hatfield) Grody; his four children, Terry & Darlene Yoder of Troy, Patrick & Tammy Grody of Piqua, Donald & Lisa Grody of Bradford, Brenda Pearce of Troy; his children by marriage, Oliver & Pam Gregory of Bradford, Dana Stevens and fiancé, Anthony “Doc” Martin of Piqua; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation from 2-4 PM Saturday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford. His cremains will be buried at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
