Just learned this morning at the Bulldog Diner of Doug's passing. We are saddened, but thankful for his faith and service. We have hope of eternal life for all believers in Christ, as he promised. A reunion is ahead. The troubles of this world are past.

Doug was my favorite Sunday School teacher. I had him during my Jr. High years. He could get even the shy kids to talk because he was a great listener and was not judgemental. He had a great way to connect the issues we were dealing with to the Bible. He was a blessing!
Mike enjoy serving with him on the fire department! We both loved his playful sense of humor!
