We are very sorry to here about the untimely passing of Karen. It is always difficult hearing of a death of former student that I had taught. I was fortunate to see her at the voting polls during every election. She will be missed. David and Kaye Humerickhouse

I will miss working with you Karen. Take good care of those granddaughters in your new role as their spiritual guardian; now you can see them every day.

My heart is broken at the loss of my friend as I remember back through the years long ago of a friendship through high school and into our adult lives. Through the birth of our daughters and all the weekends and holidays we spent together!! I cherish those memories and I thank God for the gift of knowing her! My thoughts and prayers to Ashley, Barb and all the family during this difficult time!

Karen and I were buddies. We were more like family, working and sharing together. I will hug her again which gives me some consolation.

My prayers are with her family who she adored.

Dear Ashley,
I know that you and your girls are devastated by the loss of your mother and their grandmother,
Karen was always there for me,and I had a precious card and message from her the day before her passing. As always she was warm and funny, telling me that I make better fudge than professional fudge makers.
Years ago, we talked about her wishes for college for you and then her acceptance of your decision to marry. She and I discussed the wedding, and she wanted just the right dress as the mother of the bride.
And when the babies were born, there was no prouder grandmother on the face of this earth.
She knew she would see you and them more with her intended new car purchase.
Some come into our lives and have little impact, but I've known always that Karen was there to share her life with me.
You and your daughters were everything to her, her sole purpose in living. Know that and hold those precious memories close as you live your life.

Karen,

I really enjoyed discussing our grandchildren at Edison. It was easy to see they meant everything to you. May you rest in the arms of the Lord.
