Douglas Craig Boyer, age 74 of Troy, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit.  Douglas was born in Piqua to the (late) Ollie Milton & Rita Clara (Didot) Boyer; was a graduate of Piqua High School; was a U.S. Air Force Veteran; retired from Local Beauty Supply Warehouse, Indianapolis; and his favorite hobby was putting model cars together.  Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, William Boyer.  Douglas is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Kay (Huffman) Boyer; son, Joseph Boyer of Troy; two sisters, Joan & Bill Beasley of Piqua, Kim & Bill Collins of Vandalia; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.  Services will be held at a later date.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
